20091202 - In NC Grass Roots North Carolina (www.GRNC.Org) is the state organizer. At a recent gun show GRNC sold 18 SAM T shirts! GRNC is a long-standing RKBA powerhouse but just getting started with merchandise so this bodes well - for SAM and GRNC.

Is that all they are doing is selling T-Shirts...or actively organizing an event.
I would be interested to attend the event in North Carolina, since I've not seen much action from the "ccordinator" for South Carolina.

If you are considering cheap
If you are considering cheap travel to the April 19 DC 2nd Amendment Rally, Greyhound Bus leaves Clt at 10:40pm 4/18/10 and arrives DC 4/19/10 at 9:00am, returns 5:30pm on 4/19/10 and arrives Clt 2:50am. Cost is $94 (21-day advance purchase for 1 adult).
Hi Frank - Thanks for your
Hi Frank -
Thanks for your interest. We hadn't investigated commercial bus tickets but it's certainly a viable option if there's a partial bus load leaving from Charlotte or any other location.
We haven't settled on where our buses are going to be leaving from because we don't have a final count of who's coming from where so we haven't settled on departure points as yet.
As a fall back GRNC President & SAM NC-Coordinator, Paul Valone told some of us at a recent (Greensboro) gun show that we will have a bus starting in Charlotte going North on I-85 with another stop in Raleigh. Presumably if we get limited interest from towns in-between it will make other stops along the I-85 - I-40 corridor.
Are you planning on traveling with a group?
We're at the gun shows if you would like to chat personally.

I don't know of a planned bus to DC from Charlotte area - see my earlier post about a Greyhound fare.

I signed up, and paid, for the Charter bus leaving from Charlotte going thru Raleigh and on to DC on 4/18 and return 4/19. Do we have a firm commitment for the bus? Where do I get on the bus in Charlotte? Is a ticket being mailed to me?
