D.C. Hotel Rooms Available!

Good news:  So many people booked rooms at our partner hotel in Arlington that we filled our room block!

Bad news:  Some people who wanted a room missed out on the $99 room deal, and the rates jumped back up to $238.

Good news:  Georgia coordinator for Second Amendment March, N.J. Davis, also held a block of rooms at the same hotel for the same great $99 rate, and her room block is not yet filled.  N.J. has graciously shared her booking link with us to extend to all of you so you can still book a D.C. hotel room at a great rate!

Bad news:  You need to ACT FAST!!!  This special rate will only apply until March 22nd, so book now!

Please go to our hotel page for more info and the booking link.

"Shall Not Be Infringed" Or No Public Gather Carry?

I saw the code of conduct, and couldn't help but notice the # 1 rule is No Unlawful Possession Of Firearms. I would assume that applies to everyone attending since most states have a no possession at public gatherings law. Are we supposed to listen to that law which itself is illegal because it does in fact go against our constitutional rights (and we all know it does, or we wouldn't have been supporting this march for so long) or are we supposed to stand up for the 2nd Amendment, and carry anyway? I would like to know the answer to this question please. I may have been under the impression this was much more than a just let's obey our gun laws, and show our representatives that we are willing to comply with the strip down of our rights kind of movement. I am a national touring singer/songwriter, and I was arrested for having a legal handgun in the state of Nebraska while traveling on business. I spent close to $10,000 dollars, and 11 months, and 18 days fighting for this right, driving to court in Valentine Nebraska 1500 miles one way from my home in Georgia 6 times in the course of 2008/2009. I've missed work, and valuable opportunities standing up for OUR 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS.I have yet to have my handguns returned, even with my attorney contacting the necessary thiefs, and it's been almost a year since our charges were dropped. The NRA, GOA, ACLU, or any of the rest of the so-called "Civil Liberties" & "Fundamental Rights" organizations wouldn't even get involved, or told us to "just carry a big stick or dog next time" I've been spreading the word about the 2nd amendment march for sometime now, and I will be passing on your final word to my fans that I have been keeping updated. I was really hoping, along with many people I've been talking to that this is not another NRA type of organization which really is just there to show the government we will comply with their rules, and to give them our money that we could be using to buy valuable things like ammo with. I have been led to believe by your website in the past that we would in fact be carrying our weapons with us in the pursuit of our interest. If not then no thanks. I don't need another so called organization that claims to stand firm, but in fact obeys the commands of the liars running our country. I want to be able to carry my gun anywhere I damn well choose for the protection of my person, and property as well as those around me. I'm not a felon, I'm not deemed crazy, psychotic, or dangerous. I have been a law abiding citizen for my entire life, and I think it sucks that myself, and countless others like me have been railroaded by local, state, and federal governments into submission. "Shall Not Be Infringed" Should be the priority, not just the selling point! I will be posting this as a blog @ [link removed] which you can go read in a few minutes, along with your response when, and if I receive one to keep the people that I have been telling that you are not like the rest updated as to your ambitions. Thanks for your time! -Peewee Moore Peeweemooremusic@yahoo.com

You're kidding, right?

You've got to be kidding. First, do you REALLY expect the 2nd Amendment March organizers to encourage people to bring their firearms to D.C.? (And by the way, I have no idea where you ever got the idea that they were encouraging this.) For what purpose? So x thousand people can get arrested? And then when those x thousand people need bail money, what? They'll expect 2nd Amend march to bail them out. With what money? Oh, not to mention, they all get indicted for inciting a riot or committing treason. Sure, it's easy for YOU to sit there and hide behind your little blog, sanctimoniously telling others what they should do, how they should do it, and anything to the contrary makes them a sellout. BS!!! If you want to stage an armed march on Washington then get off YOUR ass and do it. YOU take the risk. YOU take the fallout. Don't expect honest, hardworking people with families and jobs to do the dirty work. Yeah, you drove 1500 miles one way, blah blah. You're in the trenches. You're a true leader. Uh-huh. Have YOU ever organized something like this?

Do you HONESTLY believe that it is realistic to gather enough armed marchers on Washington at this point and time? Recognize that this is the first rally of its kind to be done in Washington. People like you are living in a dream world. "LET'S STORM THE GATES! YEEEEEEEEAHHHHHH!" Idiots. That will go a long way toward protecting our rights, won't it? A few thousand marchers are easily quashed and the anti-gunners start screaming for RKBA rights to be taken away once and for all. Hey, if YOU want to be the poster boy for that, step on up, big man.

Otherwise, shut the hell up.
