Celina, Ohio Town Hall Meeting!
Submitted by dan_white on Thu, 02/25/2010 - 00:17
OK everybody, my friends and I are hosting a Town Hall event this Saturday evening is support of the upcoming Second Amendment Marches in Columbus and Washington DC.
The purpose of this event is not only to raise money, but also to raise the awareness of the boots on the ground that will be helping us send a message to our blind, deaf and dumb non-representatives across the nation, and I need your help. If you can't attend this event, find another to attend, but get involved in some way to help us get the message to DC. If you can't find an event that fits your schedule, please take the time to send a donation directly: https://www.fundraisingbynet.net/fbn/contributenp.asp?guidRegistration=565958 it won't go to waste, we're ALL volunteers, and we're all in this together.
The professional organizers have told us it will take $500,000.00 to pull this event off, so here's my plan:
While $500,000.00 at first may appear to be a huge goal, think of it as 500 determined individuals spread across 50 states, all determined to raise at least $1000.00 each. If we can't find 500 people from a list of over 300,000,000, we deserve to fail.
I've secured a dollar for dollar match for the first $500.00 in donations, so $1000.00 should be a piece of cake. We'll have copies of the Constitution, Second Amendment DVDs, books, booklets and flyers available for donation only. We'll also have bumper stickers and a limited number of t-shirts for sale along with a 50/50 drawing.
We've got the Mercer County Sportsmen Association's clubhouse booked for the evening of February 27th, with a target time of 7pm. This event will be kept very informal and short so it doesn't ruin too much of your weekend. All I ask for is an hour of your time and a handfull of your coins to support this national effort to help get our nation back on the right path.

Terry,
Great job on Saturday night on information to petition our elected officials against establishing anti-gun legislation. Your presentation was very informative along with you table of handouts and books! On behalf of the Mercer County Liberty Group we really appreciate your hospitality. By welcoming us at your event we were able to gain more signatures for our petition to End the Estate Tax in the State of Ohio. Check out the link to end this tax at wwww.mercercountylibertygroup.org. Again, Terry thanks for your dedication to the cause, you are true Patriot.
