Sheraton HotelWe are pleased to announce that attendees of the Second Amendment March in Washington, D.C. can reserve rooms at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, VA at a greatly reduced rate. 
 
The Sheraton National is a 3.5-star hotel that normally books for $250 or more per night.  However, we have negotiated a deal that reserves a block of rooms for only $99 per night (plus taxes and plus parking, if applicable.  Parking is $20 per night.).  The Sheraton National is near the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery, and is across the Potomac from the Washington Monument.  The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from Reagan National Airport (about 5 minutes away), as well as the nearest metro station (Pentagon City).
 
The Sheraton National has also assured us that they are firearm friendly (for all legally carried firearms, of course =)).  All they ask is that when you leave your firearm in your room that you lock it in the provided room safe.
 
Please note that the $99 per night does not include breakfast.  We felt that it was more important to offer the lowest rate possible for our attendees since many people do not eat breakfast or may prefer to make alternate arrangements.  
 
Sorry!  Our room block at the Sheraton sold out!  However, there are still rooms available at an alternate hotel through our Georgia coordinator, N.J. Davis.  Please see this page for more information.

Rooms are still available (about 40 left).  If you call their national reservation number and your travel dates include any dates other than the 18th/19th, they may tell you that it is sold out when it really isn't.  Their system apparently doesn't recognize the room block if you request dates that are not included in our block rate.  I am trying to resolve this with the hotel since it leads people to believe we are sold out when we are not.

Booked one room for the Sunday night in advance of the March. The on line system accepted the reservation at the $99 rate as of this AM March 4th.

Was able to get room for one night April 18 at good rate of $99. But also tried to get it for April 18 and April 19 nights and was refused for a 2 night stay. Too bad I wanted to look around Washington in addition to the March.

Whenever it's about weekend with family or friends it is just not about compromising with price. After all has been mentioned about the comforts and quality accommodations with smell fresh coffee in the morning, one would surely like to try the spot. I hope there will be outdoor kitchen facilities for Bar-B-Que and to give little touch of outdoor camping as well.
