Anywhere but Denver City/County. Open Carry is illegal in Denver. Open Carry is legal everywhere else. Don't give Denver the dignity of hosting our march for our rights.

I'd like to plan to be in or around Denver for this. Denver needs to wake up and repeal the no open carry law. If we have a rally point...I'm there.

So, I am just now realizing the situation here. Now if a person wanted to be the coordinator for Colorado at this late date, what assistance could be expected from the National Board?
I would be interested in trying to pull as many of us together as is possible at this late date. Please let me know.

Perhaps we the 2A march

Perhaps we the 2A march people could join me and hopefully some others from Continental Congress 2009 ( www.cc2009.us )for delivery of the Articles of Freedom at the CO state capitol building at 1:00 pm on 4/19/2010. Our 2A rights are spelled out quite clearly in this document, so the two groups work well together. I'll be there to go inside and hand a copy of the Articles to the Gov. or my rep/sen Primavera/Mitchell. Whoever I find first.

I'm going to be at the capitol at 1:00 pm on the 19th for sure. I'm not certain how many others will be there. I do want to step into the building to deliver a copy of the Articles of Freedom to, I hope the Gov.
The Articles of Freedom is a pretty radical document. It does spell out clearly what most Americans expect of our government. I'm not even certain that Second Amendment March would like to appear to be with this group. I would hope that they do.

During the week is hard for most people to make it to a rally/meeting, but we should try to rally on the same day as the DC march, shouldn't we?

I don't see a place to find out how many in CO have clicked RSVP, Do you know? I don't believe I clicked RSVP here, but I will try to attend where ever we could meet, especially on Mon. since I will be at the Capitol at 1:00 and probably untill at least 2:00

Amendment to my last post.

The delivery of Articles of Freedom ceremony will be held across the street from the capitol building, west side. (across broadway from the state capitol). We start at 12:00 noon. An outline of the plan is on that page, as well as the dedication ceremony program. There is a final webcast for this on Sun. at 7:00 pm.

I will be armed with a video cam and a DSLR.
I will try to make it the Second Amendment March where ever we can meet.

I have been exploring our options and trying to find out how we can honor this event as well as our brother's and sisters who are Marching on the 19th. Obviously we won't be doing anything on the 19th, so please lend your financial support to the DC Rally as they can still use whatever help you can give.

I appreciate your patience as I work to put together a time and place for Colorado.
As mentioned, there are other groups that will be on the Capitol step for other rallies if you choose to join them.

I assure you that I will post the information for our Colorado Second Amendment March as soon as it becomes available. I appreciate your support.

Perhaps the plan could be to have a second march in Sept./Oct. If the Org. can afford what it takes to set up another march this year, we could get Colorado informed of it. I tried, but I think it was a failure on my part. I felt rather rushed. I think If we could get the Org. to do a second march, it would work out much better for the CO chapter this time. Just 3 months of planning here should do the trick. How can we get the other states behind this? We all need to get the organizers behind it, and pretty soon.

I would like to see a "second" 2nd amendment march this year. I felt rushed here in CO on this, and would like a "second" chance. I was happy to see some media coverage, and I think a "second " march would make another wave, maybe bigger than the first one.
Please consider the option, and let me know if there is something more I can do.
